Am I able to receive hormone treatment?
Yes, complete hormonal reassignment is provided as part of my
transgender care network.
How is
my hormonal therapy maintained over long distances?
For safe treatment and the most effective feminization, we
periodically recommend diagnostic blood tests be taken. Patients
periodically receive laboratory orders directly from us, which can be taken to
any local diagnostic laboratory. The laboratory will send test
results for medical review. Any medication adjustment, if needed,
can then be recommended to maximized treatment.
How do telephone
counseling and consultation services work?
Telephone counseling
and consultation with Dr. Bushong
is a one-to-one experience—sessions are scheduled for
a specific time and date.
Are sessions
confidential?
Yes,
sessions are handled in the same confidential manner as meeting with a
doctor face-to-face.
Are there
long-distance telephone charges to pay?
No. Dr. Bushong
places the call, so there are no long distance telephone charges to pay.
What type of
subjects are dealt with during counseling?
Over the years,
Dr. Bushong has provided help to hundreds of people in the gender community, and

What is the
cost of services?
Counseling is
$135 US per 50 minute hour. Other services, such as letters of
recommendation, are based on the same fee structure.
How are
services paid?
The PayPal system
is used which allows charges to be applied to a major credit card. Please see

I don't have
[don't want] a PayPal account—can I still use my credit card?
If you
do not have a PayPal account and do not want to establish one, a
simplified PayPal check-out process now allows users to make purchases
without establishing a PayPal account.

cards are accepted?
Master Card, Visa,
American Express, and Discover credit cards are accepted.
I live outside the USA—am I able to receive services?
Yes,
Dr. Bushong will place telephone calls to individuals almost anywhere
worldwide, so there are no long distance telephone charges for you to
pay. PayPal is currently offered in
45 countries
and will handle the currency conversion for you.
